Biography

Hurt is the result of the meeting of two 24 year olds: J. Loren, fed at Gospel and classical music in a religious universe in which rock was forbidden, singer of the band he also takes care of guitar or violin. Evans Johns, son of Andy Johns (producer for bands like Led Zeppelin , Van Halen , The Stones , ...), nephew of Glyn Johns (producer of Who , Kinks , Eagles , ...), as much as saying that he has been immersed in rock in it for a long time, he holds the position of drummer. J. Oren was spotted by John Smith who advised him to change drummer and take his son, after having been introduced they recorded some demos that would lead to the formation of Hurt (joined by Joshua Ansley at bass and Paul Spatola at guitar). In 2006 the band released its first album : Vol. 1 , a mix between Tool and the grunge of the early 1990s all embellished with violin, at the release of the single ( Rapture ) the song is the most added on the rock playlists of the American radio stations. The adventure is launched, there is only one thing left to know where it will lead them, the beginnings are promising.
