Hypothermia

The story of Hypothermia begins in 2001 in Sweden, around Kim Carlsson (Lifelover , Kall , Life is Pain , Kyla , Elder Suicide ). Between 2003 and 2005 5 demos appeared, and 2 Splits (one with Durthang and the next with Dimhymn) were released in 2006 under Kim's own label, Insikt Records, the first real album named Veins.
Nachtzeit also joined him at the battery to help him with the
composition from the third demo. A new series of Splits is added to the discography of Hypothermia, with among others Aska, Svartnar and finally Arkha Sva. Also the same year, the duo released the second album Köld under Those Opposed Records and the third album Rakbladsvalsen under Total Holocaust Records in 2007. This year's only production, Hypothermia returns more inspired than ever in 2008 with two new Splits ( Grimnir / Trist / Regnum and the second with Black Howling ), EP Gråtoner and a new demo ( Kaffe&blod ). That same year Richards Abrams ( Sitra Ahra , Through the Pain , Iblis Industries )
takes up the place behind the drums from the EP and the combo is
ready to release in 2010 the album of a single instrumental song of a duration
d'01:08:40, from the name of Skogens hjärta with
Johannes Abrahamsson guitar. Piece that will be reissued later in 2
Half hour parts each. Then nothing until a new one
Split in 2013 with Svarti Loghin . In 2014 it's the story of two demos, including the premiere where Hans Cools ( Ignifer, Monads, Kilte, Tapetum Lucidum, The Apostasy, Trancelike Void)
replaces guitarist Johannes Abrahamsson while the second is
an improvisation session during the recording period of the
first album Veins , when Nachtzeit occupied the drums.
Along the way the Black Metal of the beginnings has transformed little to
Small in Post-Rock/Metal, confirming this musical turn with in 2015
the album Svartkonst under Agonia Records . At the beginning of 2016 Phil A. Cirone (Kall , Shining ) joined his ranks then the band went on tour.
