Biography

Ill Nino is a Latin American band from New Jersey, composed of Christian Machado (song), Dave Chavarri (drummer), two guitarists: Marc Rizzo and Jardel Paisante, Lazaro Pina (bassist) and Roger Vasquez (percussionist). Most of the members of the group are of Latin American origin and their compositions feel it, a mixture of neo metal and Latin rhythms the group formed in the early 2000s following the impulse of Chavari (ex Pro Pain , who then toured with Soulfly ) who wanted to found a group mixing heavy metal, melody and a Latin touch. The band then began to shoot in the first part of the band like Snappase, Soulfly, Kittie, Hatebreed ... In 2001 the band entered the studio with Ron St-Germain ( Tool , Soundgarden , Creed ) to produce its first album : Revolution Revoluciòn . Their rather melodic style makes it an accessible group that is found elsewhere on several BOs and that is worth many reviews, some love others hate as usual in these kinds of accessible crossover. In 2003 the band returned with its second album ( Confessio n), after two years of tours and the loss of two members replaced by Ahrue Luster (ex Machine Head ) and Danny Couto ; This time the band is using Bob Marlette ( Saliva , Black Sabbath ) for production. 2005 sees the return of Ill Nino for One Nation Underground.
