In 2001, Immortal Technique released its first album Revolutionary Vol. 1 thanks to the money he earns during his battles. This allows him to be quoted in The Source and to record and release Revolutionary Vol. 2 in 2003. Viper Records and Babygrande Records reissue the first opus in 2005 and 2006 respectively. The musician then started flooring on his next 2 installments, The Middle Passage and The 3rd World , the first one only debunked in 2011 while the second one was released in 2008, with DJ Green Lantern back-up on most tracks. A mixtape, The Martyr, is aired in 2011. The musician collaborated with Rockin' Squat (Assassin), Mos Def or Dead Prez . He participated in the reconstruction of an orphanage in Kabul and sang in Spanish and English in his titles, with lyrics marked by acerbic and cynical worldview.
