Biography

Infectious Grooves was founded in 1991 by Mike Muir (chant) and Robert Trujillo (bass), two members of the Suicidal Tendencies group. They recruit guitarists Adam Siegel and Dean Pleasants, and drummer Stephen Perkins ( Jane's Addiction , Rage Against The Machine , Red Hot Chili Peppers ...). Despite poor media coverage, the band quickly became a cult band thanks to their innovative music, funky to wish, and their crazy side! The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move... It's The Infectious Grooves released in 1991 and blends clothing with funk and metal. The album surprises and knows its small success thanks to word of mouth. Two years later, in 1993, the band released Sarsippius' Ark before starting a tour with Ozzy Osbourne and Suicidal Tendencies. In 1994 Infectious Grooves recruited young Brooks Wackerman to record Groove Family Cyco . After a five-year break, the band eventually released Mas Borracho in 1999. The group has not officially split but nothing has been announced in years, and Robert Trujillo joined Metallica in 2003 while Mike Muir continues to serve at Suicidal Tendencies ...
