Biography

Inside conflict formed in 1998 in the vicinity of Poitiers and quickly recorded a first demo in which the band distinguished itself from the hardcore formations of the time by the diversity it injected into its interpretation of extreme music. After a first maxi cd Headless on the Belgian label Next sentence rec in 2000, Inside conflict was released in February 2001 on the famous French label Overcome records. Direct, frontal and without concessions, the 15 tracks of this album, offering an ultra energetic mix between hardcore, death and grind, are unanimously welcomed by the press and the public. This recognition will also allow the band to tour all over Europe alongside sizes such as Napalm death or Madball, as well as with the no less talented Swiss of Nostromo. In July 2003 Inside conflict locks up at the LBlab studio under Stéphane Buriez to record and mix Spherical mirage that will be released in February 2004, still produced and distributed by Overcome records. With this new album, Inside conflict confirms its status as an outsider and innovative band. Unfortunately, the successive departures of Jerome, the original singer (replaced for a time by Baloo of the band Dynasty's Bastards), in April 2004 and of JB, a year later, will precipitate the end of the band that will officially splict after a concert given at Fury Fest and then a last at home in Poitiers. A DVD will be released a year later, to close the story permanently.
