Integrity
Biography
Integrity formed in Cleveland in 1989 on the ashes of Die Hard , a local combo in which Aaron Melnick, Chubbie Fresh and Dwid Van Hellion took part. The trio is joined by Tom Brose (ex-Confront ). For two years, several line up changes will occur. After recruiting a second guitarist in the person of Chris Smith (ex- False Hope), Brose and Fresh were replaced respectively by Lennie Melnick, Aaron's brother, and Dave Araca. Integrity recorded his first album Those Who Fear Tomorrow in 1991. Several tours followed, when the band formed a reputation for a signature on Victory Records. The release of Systems Overload in 1995 pushes him ahead of the hardcore scene. After a period of stability, the turn over resumes. Chris Smith is replaced by Franck Novinec (Terror , Hatebreed ) and Araca leaves his place to Chris Dora for the recording of the albums Humanity Is The Devil and Seasons in the Size Days which, in addition to being strongly imbued with Dwid's religious concerns, allow Integrity to extend its circle of fans to the metal. Aaron Melnick's departure in 1999 marks a turning point. Dwid temporarily renamed the combo Integrity 2000 and teamed up with guitarist Dave Felton to write the album of the same name. From the release of To Die For , Integrity turns in Europe, more intensely two years later when the new incarnation comes to life with the Jochum brothers. In 2008, Integrity embarked on a major tour alongside Converge and Coliseum and began to reflect on his new album.
