Intensity's debut dates back to 1996 in Sweden. Trained at the initiative of Rodrigo Alfaro, then singer of the Satanic Surfers, associated with Simon (battery), Jonas (guitar) and Christoffer Lind (bass), the band appeared for the first time on the Compil This is a Bad Taste. Under this band, Intensity recorded the mcd Bought and Sold followed in 1998 by its first real album Wash Off The Lies which was released on the Bad Taste Records label. Subsequently, the group underwent some changes. Simon was replaced by Tommas Svendsen and the quartet became a quintet with the recruitment of a second guitarist, Mattias Blitxberg. Intensity recorded The Ruins of Our Future in 2001 and foamed Europe and Scandinavia despite the distance of some of its members (Tommas and Christoffer live in Copenhagen). The same year Jonas left the band, replaced by Andreas Dahlstrom. Along with Intensity , Rodrigo Alfaro takes care of his label Putrid Filth Conspiracy on which comes the latest production of Intensity , the ep Ruttna Bort recorded in 2003.
