Intro5pect formed in 1997 with the aim of pointing the finger at the loss of meaning and the outright marketing of punk-rock, the band is convinced that music is always a powerful way to change minds and opposes any form of opression and discrimination.
A first demo 4 tracks was released in self-production in 1998, followed in 1999 by their first release (a 7inch) on a label, Geykido Comet Records. After a few appearances on various compilations and some changes of line-up the group was noticed and signed in 2002 on A-F records, label of the Anti Flag group. Their first album, produced by Justin Sane, was released the following year and was welcomed by the public.
2007, after new line-up changes, the band toured in Europe, played in squats as well as in large halls and continued to convey its message to all those who would like to listen to it. At the end of the year they release their second album, Realpolitik, which confirms their potential and allows them to open for Anti Flag on part of their tour.
