Stars du fun metal sur-Rhin, J.B.O (for James Blast Orchester), is originally a group of times created just for fun, and just for a concert at Erlangen's Newcomer festival in 1989. With a repertoire containing only covers of songs of a wide variety of styles, with very subversive text changes, in English or German, the group does not do in lace or finesse. The band changed its name in 1996 following a conflict with the publishing house of James Blast (German conductor and composer), and chose James zensiert!chester. The style of J.B.O is mainly metal, although a fairly large number of compositions affect both reggae and techno, punk and very often any-what-core. Taking as well Queen ( Wir Sind Die Mushrooms ), the Bangles ( Walk With An Erection ), the Rolling Stones ( Angie Merkel ) or the Manu Chao ( Head Bang Boing , for Bongo Bong ), J.B.O's repertoire is quite amazing and rich in bullshit. Even though most of the covers are in German, the shift flies every time and it's a real treat for the idiot who sleeps in you...
