Jesu
Biography
Godflesh barely cooled, Justin Broadrick founded Jesu in 2003 in his good city in Birmingham. In September 2004, he released a mcd entitled Heart Ache e.p. designed at Avalanche studios. For the recording of his first album Jesu , he surrounds drummer Ted Parsons (ex- Swans , ex- Prong , ex- Godflesh ) and bassist Dermott Dalton (ex- Cable Regime , ex- Godflesh ). During its existence, the group develops a singular personality, at the crossroads of several genres and puts on the market many records for such prestigious labels as Hydra Head or Matador. Justin Broadrick later chose to establish his own label, Avalanche Records, which allowed him to gain independence (and income). At the end of 2020, after seven years without albums, Jesu released a new album entitled Terminus , coupled with the EP Never a few months earlier. Justin records all the instruments there, with the exception of a few parts of the drums signed Ted Parsons, which serves as a guest.
