Biography

Jet Market formed in 1998 in Rome around a common high school love for NOFX. The following year, and after line-up changes, they recorded their first demo in a punk ska style. In 2001, after a few local shows, they turned to a punk rock / skatecore style influenced by Californian and Swedish scenes. A demo, 7 Songs, is quickly made; its 600 copies will be distributed free of charge at the band's concerts and festivals. The following year, the quartet produced its first album, Everyday Casualties, which opened a few doors in Italy. This led to a first contract with Indelarium Records (Italy) and Poor Boy Records (Japan) for EP Freedom Slaves. The disc marks a more aggressive turn in combo music. They still do not come out of their country but turn to Italy between semesters at university. This will be done after the more politicized release of The Reverse of the Medal (2006) which will see them play in Japan in 2007 thanks to the deal with Fast Circle Records, as well as in Greece and the rest of Europe with their compatriots To Kill. Rebelote in 2008 with a road trip that will take them from Moscow to London next to Bedtime For Charlie. In the meantime, during the summer they compose and record Perdition that they will defend in Europe and Japan, again with their compatriots Bedtime For Charlie. They were found in 2010 with a self-produced EP of 6 songs for 6 minutes with the theme of the extinction of humanity and the end of the world. The Sky Will Cry Fire is only 100 copies away. They then partnered with Burning Fiction and Part Time Killer (ex-Flippin Beans) for the release of a 3-way split in December 2010 (Pee Records, Australia). It is then time for the Italians to go back to writing a complete opus three years after Perdition. Sparks Against Darkness will be recorded in summer 2011 and will feature Steve Rawles (Belvedere , This Is A Standoff ). It looks like mid-October. For this opus, Jet Market has won the support of half a dozen labels around the world, including Kickass Records , Bad Mood Records and No Reason Records in Europe. At the same time, they went to Australia and Japan to defend him. Alex: singing, drums Rob: guitar, singing Giacomo: bass, singing Agostino: guitar
