Biography

Jetsex was born in 1998 from the ashes of a group in which the charismatic Miko (chant) and Jimmy (bass) played. Many line up changes disrupted the actual launch of the JetSex style (Roger and Ben at the beginning respectively on guitar and drums were replaced first by Boban for guitar and then by Yann. Nono will replace Ben behind the drums). The first (real) composers are born with the arrival of these new members which allows JetSex to record five songs and make a name in the Parisian scene after some already very intense concerts between hardcore and punk old school recalling H2O see Suicidal Tendencies . And for their first release, New York City: Paris, my love the band pays the luxury of having a split with the New Yorkers of Murphy's Law in September 2001. A few months after the split, Phil (ex- Burning Heads) brings his experience to the second guitar and JetSex starts to make a little tour of France crossing notably on his road No Redeeming Social Value, The Queers, Murphy's Law, Hard Ons, Kill Your Idols, Bane or even Mr T Experience. Not bad for a first! The year 2004 is rather good: the band first signs on The Age of Venus (national distribution by Overcome ) is invited to the Fury Fest 2004 , makes a European tour (Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy, Poland etc) with 25 ta Life as well as some fun first parts ( Stretch Arm Strong , Dirty Fonzy ...) and finally their first album Paris By Night confirms their potential and clame high and strong their love for the capital.
