Biography

Mainly known through Lagwagon – cult group of punk rock melo 90 Joey Cape is a leading figure in the San Francisco scene, an insatiable one whose thirst for composition and musical work seems inexhaustible. Not only did he lead on the road to the top of the formations like Lagwagon and Bad Astronaut, he participated in the advent of other groups of his generation through his label My Records ( Scott Garth , The Adventure Of Jet ) or by production aid ( The Ataris , Nerf Herder , Useless I.D. ). Besides these main activities, Joey Cape also multiplies side-projects, whether in the All-star band Me First and The Gimme Gimmes , Afterburner , The Playing Favourites or his solo project to which we owe two releases: an acoustic split with Tony Sly (frontman of No Use For A Name ) and Bridge , which just appeared.
