Biography

Jóhann Jóhannsson , born in 1969, is the leader of Icelandic contemporary music. He is the author of various works that anchor his personality in all aspects of the island's artistic life: OST for films and documentaries, music for theatre performances, producer (including Emiliana Torrini's Love in The Time of Science album or Pan Sonic's The Hymn of The Seventh Illusion) and composer of his own works since 2002.
It is also at the origin of the artistic collective Kitchen Motors, Icelandic think tank promoting talent development through promotions, collaborations and productions of original works based on innovation and experimentation.
