Biography

John Garcia is no longer present, singer/founder of the legendary Kyuss, active from 1990 to 1996. After the Kyuss era, Garcia founded Slo Burn for an EP in 1997, then Unida in 1999. In 2002 he attacked Hermano, recording with them three albums and a live. On December 20, 2005, after 8 years of separation, Garcia joined Josh Man on stage for a Queens of the Stone Age concert. They perform three tracks: Thumb, Hurricane and Supa Scoopa and Mighty Scoop. The meeting was emulated, and Kyuss Lives reshaped the time of a few concerts, without Josh Man, before finally recording a new album as Vista Chino. Since that time, Garcia has also been working on his solo album, which he takes a crazy time to release, because of a busy schedule, punctuated with diverse and varied collaborations and the difficulty for him to focus on this project that is close to his heart. His first album is finally released in the summer of 2014, a kind of project in the direct continuity of everything he has undertaken with his other bands.
