Jon Oliva S Pain

Founded in 2003, Jon Oliva's Pain is originally planned as a solo project of singer/multi-instrumentalist/composer Jon Oliva (Savating). He became a full band with the arrival of the musicians freshly left from Circle II Circle (group of Zak Stevens, singer of Savatage). A first album, 'Tage Mahal', was released in 2004 by SPV. Unsatisfied with the label, the band then signed with AFM Records, which will be released three times until Festival in 2010. After the death of guitarist Matt LaPorte in 2011, Jon Oliva's Pain remains inactive; It is only during an interview in 2019 that Oliva states that the group no longer exists.
