Jonsi

Jón It was only after the release of Með Suð í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust in 2008 that he made a name with his side projects. The first, electro/ambient duo with his friend Alex Somers, under the name Riceboy Sleeps, whose eponymous album was released in 2009. His second project, simply named Jónsi , saw him venture solo while continuing the exploration of the pop territories begun on the fifth album of his original band. Go , released in April 2010, takes advantage of Iceland's reputation for travelling around the world and is soon followed by a live CD/DVD that traces the album's origins and its first performances on stage.
