Junction 18 takes shape in '96 in Boston (Massachussets), and very quickly gets noticed for its live performances, as well as its technical qualities. This brings them directly to the Warped Tour stage where they will share the poster with New Found Glory. Chad Gilbert (NFG , Shai Hulud ) then talks about the band to Bob Becker, founder of Fearless Records ( Bigwig , At The Drive In ...), who signed them the week after listening to their demo. The year 2000 saw the release of their first album, This Vicious Cycle, followed by two US tours including dates with The Stryder. An EP will be released two years later, Heroes From The Future, then an acoustic split CD with Over It. Finally, for quite a few months, and with a lot of delay as a bonus, J18 has been working on the successor to This Vicious Cycle.
