Biography

Born in Pittsburgh in 1973 and of Irish origin, Justin Sane (Justin Cathal Geever of his real name) has been a singer/guitarist for many years for the punk rock band Anti Flag. He formed Anti Flag with his childhood friend, drummer Pat Thetic, and the first album Die for the Government was released in 1996. The group is imposing itself on the punk scene and regularly opposes the socio-political difficulties of the United States.
Justin Sane will discreetly embark on a solo project in the early 2000s. He writes and composes constantly and therefore has a lot of material that doesn't necessarily match what Anti Flag usually does. He will return alone in the studio with his guitar to record an EP, These Are the Days and a later album, entitled Life, Love and the Pursuit of Justice. His songs include love, friendship, life, etc. These two productions, strongly influenced by English folk singer Billy Bragg and Mike Ness's solo albums (Social Distortion) will obviously be released on the A-F Records label.
When he is not on tour with Anti Flag, he divides his time between Pittsburgh, his hometown, and London where he lives partially. Anti Flag released its eighth album in 2009.
