Kaaris

Kaaris , by his real name Okou Ganouri, was born in Abidjan but grew up in Sevran, in the 93. As early as 1999, the young man became passionate about Hip-Hop culture and became involved in the local scene. The singer could not break through, decided to travel to Côte d'Ivoire in order to work with his brother, still living in his country of origin. The civil war that struck the country forced him to return as soon as possible and his album 43° BIMA was inspired by this experience. His reputation began to grow within the French underground Hip-Hop. Things are getting worse for Kaaris, who is participating in more and more compilations. But it is above all his charactering on the track Kalash, in the company of Booba, that allows him to explode media. In 2013 Black Gold comes out which is a true commercial success as well as critical while 2015 sees the return of Kaaris on several fronts: an album ( Le Noise De Mon Ame ) and a mixtape ( Double Fuck ).
