Born out of sight, raised in intimacy, Kaddish (a name that refers both to Ginsberg's poem and to the "prayer of the dead" in Judaism) has always concentrated his fury to deliver it all into his art. A stunning demo in 2007 attracts React With Protest who hastened to release a split (2008) with Battle Of Wolf 359 , bringing together two of the most fascinating bands on the UK hardcore scene. Powered by a constant ethical and philosophical concern (Dom has a doctorate in political philosophy and teaches at the University of Dundee), the quartet is "more than a music group" and tends to revive the essence of hardcore where the message, attitude and thought are as important as the musical aspect. In 2010, on the basis of these principles (Read the text on the "Distance"), the combo unveils its first full-lenght - Self-Tilted - striking by the same the slightly apathetic nebula of the European screamo. At the end of the year, Mark left the band and Dom took over the microphone. New songs are expected to be recorded in early 2011. Kaddish has now begun his dialogue with posterity.
