Katy Perry
Biography
Born in 1984 in the USA, Katy Perry (Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson) began her career in her fifteenth year, after recording some demos and releasing a more gospel-oriented album Katy Hudson. Despite a very low number of sales (about 200 copies are spoken of), she continues her journey by regularly changing her label and joining other bands (The Matrix or participating in the choruses of a P.O.D. title) or by composing for Mick Jagger.
It is however the signature at Capitol Records that will allow the singer to know the success, with notably I Kissed A Girl and Hot N Cold, which will appear on One of the Boys in 2008, which will also open the doors of the Summer Tour of No Doubt or a Warped Tour.
She later participated in X-Factor, an American TV show before announcing Teenage Dream, her new opus, with as much success as her previous album, participated in the dubbing of the film Les Smurfs, and did not slow down the pace: Prism in 2013, a passage to the Super Bowl, the launch of her label Metamorphosis Music, then Witness in 2017.
