In Mississauga, Toronto's industrial suburb, four childhood friends formed Keepin' 6 in 2003. First local concerts (they make friends with The Johnstones and other ska punk bands) before a first EP end '04: 6-Pack . With their new and successful relationships, their tour area is expanding and their friendship with The Johnstones leads to an EP split of which more than a thousand copies will have expired.
In 2006 they made common dates with The Flatliners or illS carlett and left for Canada before landing in the studio at the end of the year with Steve Rizun (Hostage Life / The Creepshow / illScarlett ). They come out shortly afterwards with Uncensored , first album that is released in mid-June 2007 by a new sub-division of EMI named Stereo Dynamite Recordings (psycho, punk...) In September they set out for a mini tour on the Canadian East Coast and in November began the Hotbox Tour alongside Staylefish . Meanwhile (October 25) they won the Mississauga Arts Award, which Billy Talent had seized a few years before, before being successful.
