Biography

Crying Orc founded its Black Metal project in 2014 first as Yokai to change to Këkht Aräkh in 2018. Originally from Mykolaiv in Ukraine, the musician released a demo entitled Thought The Branches To Eternity in 2018 and the album Night&Love in 2019 via Livor Mortis. He was especially noticed with Pale Swordsman, who appeared in 2021 and was re-edited, like his first album, by Sacred Bones Records in 2022, which allowed for a wider diffusion of his music. Këkht Aräkh reveals a romantic Black Metal with Ambient and Dream Pop influences, which makes his universe unique. He has lived in Berlin, Germany since 2022.
