Khanate

Khanate (pronounced "con-eight" and not "canate" or otherwise) was born in 2000 in New York from the meeting of James Plotkin to bass (Regurgitation , Old , Scorn ...) and Stepehn O'Malley to guitar (Torr's Hammer , Burning Witch , Sunn O) ...). The aim of the formation is to push the limits of the doom and focus on the most terrifying and obscure extreme music. Alan Dublin (Old ) comes to appose his voice overfall while what Tim Wyskida (Manbyrd , Blind Idiot God ...) brings his drum game to complete the puzzle. In 2001 Khanate recorded their first album at the studio Necrodrone&Negatives which was then mixed by Mathias Schneeberger (The Obsessed , Saint Vitus , Goatsnake ...). Two years later, Things Viral was born on Southern Lord. In 2005 Khanate confirmed with Capture & Release on HydraHead .
