Biography

Formed on a basis of four people in 2005 on the Minneapolis side, Kill The Vultures offers an experimental hip hop, very instrumental, focused on jazz in particular. A first eponymous album arrived the same year, in the presence of MC's Advizer, Nomi, Crescent Moon, and producer/DJ Anatomy. Then only the last two, aka Alexei Casselle and Stephen Lewis, "cerveaux" of the project. The second album The Careless Flame is released in late 2006, continuing to refine a singular universe, containing elements of the 1943 Syrian folk, or other saxophone from a 70s jazz festival. The following year saw the EP Midnight Pine come out, and it will take two years to appreciate Ecce Beast, third long that has the identity of Kill The Vultures. The time space will be greater before delivery of the fourth album, since Carnelian only saw the light of day in 2015, a more consistent and shady object, with a more licked atmosphere.
