Originally from Sacramento, Killing The Dream made its first arm in Rivalry Records' roster in 2004. A year later, they were found in Deathwish's catalogue for the release of I Rewrote it ep . Produced by Kurt Ballou, the first album in Place Apart is praised by the world press and even receives the title of best album of the year at Alternative Press. The band toured in the states and Japan. In 2008 the second album Fractures was released.
