Originally trio composed of Franck (ex-Cut The Navel String , ex-Skëem ), Hervé (Hint , Fragile ) and Mehdi ( Sweetback , ex-Skëem ), Kilo is joined Laurent (ex-Kyu , El Baron Brissetti ) and Pierre ( Sexypop ). The band recorded its first demo in 2008, a demo reissued a year later by the label Maximum Douglas Records (Appolonia , Pretty Mary Dies ). Hervé left the ship without being replaced. Under this formation Kilo made his first real album entitled Lock the Dogs Out .
