King Dude
Biography
King Dude is Thomas Jefferson Cowgill. The Seattle native after starting with the Black Metal (Book Of Black Earth) and Hardcore (Teen Cthulhu) continues his breakthrough in goth occultism with his Neo Folk project founded in 2006. Like Cult Of Youth, for example, the musician performs his songs in a sober and profound deprivation, led by his acoustic guitar and vocal incantations. King Dude became known by signing up with Van Records for a first album, Love , in 2011, then Burning Daylight in 2012. Strolling the dark paths of the etheral wave, gothic rock, blues rock or neo folk, Thomas Jefferson inspired "the ruin of the world, suffering, religion, punk, metal, injustice, politics and blood". A third album, Fear , was released in 2014 with collaborations with Chelsea Wolfe or Urfaust, as well as tours alongside Of The Wand&The Moon , Earth , Ghost and even a roadburn visit in 2015.
