Kleï

Kleï took its roots in the Paris region during 2000 and made its first buds under the name of Wax with Yvan (guitar) and Djé (chant) as founding members. The band is soon joined by Del* (bass), STL (chant) and Djul (battery) during 2001 ... that is where serious things begin. After a few months of rehearsal, the band recorded their first 7 titles in August 2002 and STL left the group, quickly replaced by Nel*. Decision is taken to take a new turn by starting in French texts. A first song was born... Candice... Elegantly mixing the genres and influences, the group practises an out-of-standard and indefinable genre that could be described as electro-gothic-neo-indus-metal ... which ultimately does not qualify it!
