Klone
Biography
In Poitiers in 1995, David (Chant), Guillaume (Guitare), Julien (Basse) and Laurent (Battery) joined together in the idea of founding a metal group that would mix their influences such as Opeth, Tool, Porcupine Tree or Meshuggah. But it is only with the arrival of Matthew (Claviers / Programming) and Mika (Guitare) in 1999 that Klone really takes shape. Slowly advancing but surely, a first album is on track in 2003 named Duplicate, followed by High Blood Pressure in 2004, allowing the combo to share dates with Gojira, Aborted, Psykup, Comity or Eyeless. However, Julien, Laurent and David left the group in 2004 due to lack of time or investment, but were replaced respectively by Hugues, Florent and Yann ( Scarr / Mistaken Element). With this new line-up, Klone is gaining power, All Seeing Eye released in 2008 distributed by Season Of Mist and is starting to make French widely known. Black Days pushed the nail in 2010 still on the same label and confirmed the group's success. Follow a 2-part mini album (The Eye Of Needle ) in 2011, as to introduce the last long format released a year later, The Dreamer's Hideaway. The poitevins returned in 2015 with progressive intentions even more elaborate on Here Comes The Sun, giving themselves the services of a new guitarist, Aldrick Guadagnino (Step In Fluid), instead of Mika Moreau.
Klone is also a member of the Klonosphere, an association of French metal groups such as Hacride, Mistaken Element and Trepalium. Florent Marcadet : Batterie Guillaume Bernard : Guitare Matthieu Metzger : Claviers, Saxophone Yann Ligner : Chant Jean-Etienne Maillard : Basse Aldrick Guadagnino : Guitare
