Knuckledust
Biography
Stone - singing Ray - drums Wema - guitar Nic - bass
Knuckledust was born in the summer of 1996 in London from the will of Ray, Nick and Wema. Very quickly, the trio recruited a singer in the person of Pierre, from northwestern London.
The band foams small clubs for years before making a first recording, a 7-inch made with Area Effect.
A deal with Blackfish Records, founded by Ian Glasper ( Stampin'Ground), allows Knuckledust to release his first album in 2002. Entitled Time Wonder Heal This, the latter will be released at the U.S.A. on the Thorp Records label.
The quartet then held numerous concerts on British territory, which earned him the honour of being noticed by GSR, a Dutch label offering him the opportunity to record at the Antfarm studio under the direction of Tue Madsen. Universal Struggle was released in 2002. Hence Knuckledust's reputation goes beyond national borders and the group is even offered a participation in the Resistance Tour with Madball, Suicidal Tendencies, Ignite, Sworn Enemy, Backfire, Death By Stereo and Length of Time.
Knuckledust returned to studio in 2005 to record his third album Unbreakable and set off on a European tour. Two years later, the English made Promises Comfort Fools, still at GSR Music.
