Biography

It was in 1994 that the Knut group formed in the happy artistic city of Geneva. The quartet quickly recorded several demos, mini cds and splits with Tantrum , Botch and Ishma in particular, followed by albums that will allow it to make a name, now internationally renowned. Leftovers (1997) is the first recording on which one can really identify the musical orientation of the band: very inside, it offers a virulent hardcore and lays the foundations of a personality that will prove to be very strong from the next record, Bastardizer. With very iterative riffs and much richer compositions than before, Knut here marks its entry into the circle of inventive groups in hardcore. Knut ienne asserts a little more with the following albums, Challenger (2002) and Terraformer (2005), falling increasingly into slender and heavy sounds, highlighting the impact of the band's titles.
