Biography

Formed in 2003 in the Detroit area (Michigan), Koffin Kats is a Psychobilly. The trio is a trio that doesn't waste any time, quickly he records a first eponymous album that he releases at Hairball8 Records, then goes on tour across the United States. Less than two years passed by Koffin Kats , released a second opus, Humane which will be followed by a third in 2006 : Straying from The Pack , the group's potential is felt very quickly and the first parts of the stage's sizes follow: Mad Sin , Nekromantix , The Quakes and The Meteors , see the three louses open for them. In 2008, Drunk in The Daylight arrived in the bacs and like its predecessors, continues to enhance the reputation of Koffin Kats who eventually attracted the attention of Stomp Records (The Peacocks, Brains, The Creepshow ...), a Canadian label that released Forever For Hire in 2009. After a first European tour with The Meteors , The Silver Shine and T he Long Tall Texans , the three with their buddies of 12 Steps Rebels , record a Split CD that will only be sold during concerts in autumn 2011. A few months later, Koffin Kats returned with a fifth album Our Way And The Highway , released by Sailor's Grave Records (US Bombs , Mad Sin ...) in 2012.
