Koldbrann

Dignified heir to the Norwegian Black Metal of the 1990s,
Koldbrann formed in 2001, releasing two years later his first album, Nekrotisk Inkvisition , with very raw sound and clearly evoking the bands of the second
Black Metal wave. If the production of the following albums improves, the group
continues in his path: cold and intense melodies, recalling sometimes
Darkthrone, sometimes Gorgoroth. As for inspiration, Koldbrann sings his native lands, an icy nature
haunted by death and despair. Successive tours across Europe
have affirmed the success of the group, the latter being alongside Taake or
Shining again. Koldbrann is now one of the proud representatives of the
scene Black Metal current in Norway, mixing influences of the past and
creativity.
