With a musical background from blues to grindcore, Tolas Salonen and David Johansson met in 2004 to form the basis of future Kongh. Without real wire conductors, they want to take a good time playing a "loud and heavy" music. The interminable jams come together and after composing a pair of pieces, the duo decides to move on to serious things by integrating singing and recruiting a first bassist. In 2005, the now trio worked assiduously and was named "Kongh" in early 2006. As a result, Kongh recorded a 45-minute demo, Demo 2006, and welcomed a new bass player, Oskar Rydén. At the end of 2006, after their first concerts, Kongh signed an agreement with Trust No One Recordings. The band spent the year composing an excellent first album which will be released in 2008 under the name Counting Heartbeats . Galvanized by very positive feedback, Kongh gives a sequel, Shadows Of The Shapeless, in 2009 and still on Trust No One Recordings.
