Following the separation of the Kargol's , Yannick was a member of Skawar , during which time he became friends with Arno, the band's guitarist. The two companions will eventually be joined by Rémi and Doc (ex-Skamikazes) with whom they will compose their first six songs. Doc will soon be replaced by Lutin des Dreadful, who joins the future Korttex, accompanied by Daniel, former trombonist of the Kargol's. A first stage proposed by Olivier, manager of the Okploid, for the first part of the Spook in Agen, and finally becomes their manager. Korttex released his first album, Amnesie Collective , and signed on Schizophrenia Records announced in June 2006.
