Biography

Kunamaka formed at the beginning of the century, grows from a soil in which we find pieces of Mike Patton ( Faith No More, Fantomas, Peeping Tom, Mr Bungle, ...) of System Of A Down, Dany Elfman, ... In 2001 the band released a first EP, Santa Pignolo , and it was in 2003 that the band will be noticed discretly (??) via an album of the same name unfortunately difficult to find. The group develops a hallucinated universe, mixes styles in a pure Pattonian tradition and will release in 2004 and 2005 two compilations of titles: Unreleased, forbidden, only mega cool. The band took advantage to change its name to The Big Royal Kunamaka Orchestra. The year 2005 also saw the re-edition of their 2003 album, a new focus on the band who are going to hibernate three years, to prepare an EP (The Monolytic Woman) and above all an album, Tales From The Dead , atterifying in the bins in March 2008.
