Biography

In the early 2000s, a quintet of Barcelonais kids made a lot of talk about him in underground circles... They're called Zeidun and his guitarist/singer/songwriter Joan Colomo. In addition to an unrivalled youthful energy, they write melodic, furious and emotional pieces and stand out from the scene of the time by a nonchalant attitude and I-I-en-foutiste. Three productions later, Zeidun put his activities in brackets, and Joan Colomo continues his way with a trio entitled La Célla Durmiente (in French: the sleeping cell). No more musical barriers, creative genius uses the band to let all its musical fantasies speak. The trio was originally composed of Joan Colomo , Mau Boada ( Zeidun drummer and Omega Cinco guitarist , the Cheese and Les Aus ) and Narcís Prat (a drummer with the metal band Moksha , for whom Colomo also played bass !) on the album and tour Perverso Universo , released at Underhill Records. Two more experimental albums follow, Electcinismo and Miente, and a passage to the flagship label of the Catalan scene, Bcore. In 2010 Disco Postumo , already the fourth album of the Célla Durmiente, with a slight change of line up since Inès Martinez passed to bass. In parallel, Joan Colomo joined the Unfinished Sympathy (a true phenomenon in Spain) and began a solo career with two albums already on the counter. On the other side of the Pyrenees and under the age of 30, he is already considered a veteran both his career and his discography have marked the local landscape...
