La Coka Nostra

The Coka Nostra is a Hip Hop collective formed in 2006 on the basis of members of House Of Pain and a former member of Non Phixion. The name refers to the criminal organization named La Cosa Nostra (La Mafia) but transforming Cosa into Coka (Drogue but not in the criminal sense of the term). The Coka Nostra releases several songs but it is not until February 2009 to see the first Ep of the band, 100% Pure Coka . A first album A Brand You Can Trust is scheduled for July of the same year, including features by Snoop Dog, Cypress Hill or Immortal Technique.
The current members are Everlast ( House Of Pain ), DJ Lethal ( Limp Bizkit ), Danny Boy ( House Of Pain ), Ill Bill , Slaine , Big Left , and many other MCs come to put their voice: B-Real&DJ Muggs ( Cypress Hill ), Cynic , DJ Mek or Q-Unique . In 2012, La Coka Nostra returned with Masters of the Dark Arts, her second opus. Then there is only Slaine , Ill Bill , Danny Boy and DJ Lethal, Everlast having withdrawn from the project to devote himself to his daughter's health problems.
