Lantlôs

Lantlos is about wandering, and meeting. Errances, as his surname underlies, "Abandoned", "No domicile" in French. Because Herbst, its founding member in 2005, does not claim any membership - geographic or musical. From Black Metal's sling of origins, the traces are now very thin to reveal. A first demo, Isern Himel , was released in 2018 with the help of Angrau (Chant / Bass / Piano) while two songs were released on the first eponymous album by De Tenebrarum Principio the same year. Felix Wylezik joined the drum duo from 2011 participating in the album. Free from the borders of the genre, and following the departure of Snow, but with the arrival of Cédric Holler (Guitare / Chant), Herbst crossed an additional landing with the release of Melting Sun in 2014 under which a Post-Metal / Ethereal Shoegaze is hidden in the line of Deafheaven. We will wait until 2021 to see the long-term suite, Wildhund , which breaks even further the barriers, still sheltered by Prophecy Productions.
