Against all odds, Laura is actually a six-piece figure, straight from Melbourne, Australia. Surviving for a few years, the band will wait for 2004 and the release of Mapping Your Dreams to make themselves known and tour the airwaves of the independent national radio stations.
Playing a post-rock removed from the borders of the hazel, the band began a first national tour with the release of Radio Swan is Down, their second album, acclaimed by critics in 2006. This popularity earned them, the following year, the first part of Isis on the Australian American tour. Laura recorded for this occasion a live album, (Re)capitulate , whose furious flights attest to the band's desire to live their compositions ever more intensely in order to give a visual aura to their music.
The EP Yes Maybe No released a new stage in the group's discography in 2008 with a limited edition of 2000 copies. An opportunity for Australians to enjoy a deserved international echo.
