Biography

Lazer/Wulf is a metal instrumental band with influences ranging from Thrash Metal to Jazz and Rock Indian, Punk and Doom. Formed in 2006 in Athens, Georgia, Lazer/Wulf starts with five musicians with Jimmy Baldwin (Chant), Robert Sullivan (Guitare), Mathius (Battery), Sean Peiffer (Basse) and Bryan Aiken (Guitare / Percussions). The band recorded a demo very quickly the same year, but it was hard to find its place on the Athens Rock scene, which considered them too violent and irreverent. In addition, Sullivan has health problems and to save his vocal cords, he must leave the training. He was followed by Robert and Mathius. The remaining duo then recruited drummer Matt Karoglou, switched to instrumental trio format and composed their first ep The Void That Isn't (2008), followed by a second There Was A Hole Here. It's Gone Now (2012). The lack of singing motivates the group to explore and continually redefine itself through its instrumental and experimental approach. Benefiting from a good reputation due to their tours with Kylesa , White Hills , Blood Ceremony and Orange Goblin in 2013, Lazer/Wulf signed with Retro Futurist in 2014 and released his first album The Beast Of Left And Right , always looking for new musical horizons.
