Lessen

Lessen is a Montpellier group mixing heavy and dark influences
typically Metal with an Ambiant/Progressive touch specific to post-hardcore. The band welcomes members from quite different styles, from punk/alternative to death/black. Their common taste for post-hardcore is at the origin of Lessen's formation. At the end of 2012, the line-up stabilizes, logos and artworks are ready, as well as half a dozen compositions, 5 of which are present in an EP Demo self-produced planned for February 2013, and titled Dazzling Ashes. The following year the band released its first album, A Redemptive Decay, via Send The Wood Music, then began to shoot all over France and some neighboring countries, along with Dagoba, Hypno5e, Watch Les Hommes Tomber, Klone or Betraying The Martyrs. In 2016 the second album, A Nebulous Being , equipped with a new singer and distributed jointly by Send The Wood and Season of Mist, arrived. A new striker will be added a year later.
