Biography

Lifelover is a Swedish narcotic metal band formed in June 2005 by B (Chant, Guitar, Keyboard) and Kim Carlsson (Chant) aka ( ). They record a demo as early as June, which does more than just give the basics to the music of the band, both tracks that compose it already reflect the personality that we still know of today, that is, a depressive black metal filled with misery and pain. At the beginning of 2006, Lifelover began to write songs for a possible album without really setting limits or boundaries, it was at this time that LR and 1853 (both men have very diverse roles within the band) joined the ranks, from April to May of the same year the Swedish recorded Pulver , the first album to be released in July at Goatowarex. A short time passed and H (Guitare) was recruited by the band which very quickly looked at the writing of a second album, Erotik, which would be released at Total Holocaust Records in February 2007. At the end of 2007 Lifelover signed a contract with Avantgarde Music and recruited two new members with Fix on bass and S as a live drummer to ensure his first concerts. In April 2008 LR left the ship, and it was in September that the band gave its first concert at the Harry B James (a piano bar in Stockholm). Everything goes very quickly for the Nordics since Konkurs their third album was released in October (it should be noted that the two tracks of the 2005 demo appear on a limited version of the album). At the beginning of 2009, S and 1853 both left the group, which recruited shortly after No to the position of drummer. From then on, the Swedish are again entering a writing and recording phase because in July Dekadens (an ep of seven titles) is in the box and is released in October at Osmose Productions. After a break of about a year, 1853 took over in January 2010, but the movements did not stop since a few days later, it was No's turn to leave the band. After a longer period of time than usual the Swedish record Sjukdom, which is their fourth album to be released in February 2011 at Prophecy Productions. In September 2011 following the death of Nattdal aka B guitarist and main composer of the band, the rest of the members decided not to continue the adventure and ended Lifelover . In September 2015 it's the surprise, the formation makes two live appearances, moon at the Prophecy Fest (Tenhi, Empyrium, Amber Asylum ...) in Balve, Germany and 26 September in London for "the 10th anniversary of the band" with Hypothermia, Eye Of Solitude and Kall. Whether this is an exceptional reformation or a longer duration remains to be seen.
