Biography

Before being a singer, Linda Perhacs is a dentist. Wisely established in California, hippie at her lost time, Linda Perhacs leads a wise life made of caries and roulettes. By chance, she will release an album, Parallelograms, with the hints of psyched Folk, which will go unnoticed in her time in 1970. So Linda went back to her firm and everything could have ended here... ... if there hadn't been this revival Weird Folk in the mid-2000s, led by artists like Devendra Banhart or Joanna Newsom, to rehabilitate this album. It was reissued in 2003 and has a slight success of esteem. Cited by Mikael Akerfeldt ( Opeth ), integrated by Daft Punk in Electroma , Parallelograms presents Linda Perhacs in front of her guitar. Signed by Asthmatic Records (the Sufjan Stevens label) and surrounded by Julia Holter and Ramona Gonzalez (Nite Jewel), the artist goes back on tour and releases The Soul of All Natural Things in 2014, the most natural in the world.
