Animated by a ferocious desire that his animal symbolizes, Lion Of The North is an American formation based in the state of Indiana belonging to this new emerging American Screamo scene (Fire Team Charlie , Colossus Of Roads , Loma Prieta , Storm The Bastille , Capsule , A Silhouette ) which while taking over the legacy of the glorious elders, affirms as the holders of a new era in this field. After the bitumen experience alongside Men as Trees , In First Person and Lautrec , Lion Of The North recorded a first EP The Compass Calls in May 2007 via Common Ground Records ( Cassettes On Fire , Alessa ), an Ep to which should succeed a split 7s with Mans very soon and a 12s with Kontrapunkt this autumn.
