Locktender

After 2 years of break, Men As Trees members re-located to Cleveland to form Locktender. Locktender's concept is to put selected artists and their most striking works into music and lyrics. Thus the first 3 pieces of the band, gathered on Collected , are based on the works of William Blake, Earl Nightingale and Raphaël Gleitsmann. The band's first two albums, Kafka and Rodin , from the same recording sessions, were released in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Four years later, Locktender recorded a new LP, Friedrich , inspired by German romantic painter Caspar David Friedrich.
