Biography
Quatuor of Scottish origin next to the Shoegaze movement, Long Fin Killie has had a short but intense period of activity. Formed in 1994 around Luke Sutherland (ex Fenn), Colin Greig, Philip Cameron and David Turner, the band will end its adventure in 1998 after releasing three albums in as many years and a handful of EPs. As discreet as it is, the group is now considered, like British neighbours such as Bark Psychosis and Tortoise, as one of the pillars of Post Rock's development during the 1990s. Sutherland later continued in music by founding Bows with whom he released two albums while devoting himself to writing. He will also be seen alongside Mogwai as a violinist.
